The Boston Public Library has an amazing Flickr sharing highlights from their collection of books, prints, and memorabilia. I could look through this set of gorgeous vintage travel posters for hours!
The bold, graphic designs so vividly capture the excitement of faraway destinations, both then and now. The distinctive illustration styles and vibrant colors are wonderful, and there are also some awkward but interesting reminders of less politically correct times. Some of my favorite posters from the collection above!
